    yes

and it doesn't appear law enforcement can keep up with the non stupid ones as it is.

most of which could go away with some common sense...

problem seems, common sense & common courtesy went on vacation some time ago...and they are not coming back. :(

Funny thing about common sense is that it's really not so common at all.

You think Alexander Graham Bell knew his invention would one day be able to open the doors to his Escalade?

    made me laugh

you get it...many others as well. many don't...those who are the problem, you know them...the entitled crew...It's a free country, I can do whatever the heck I want crew...

they are among us...they do not understand that freedom comes with responsibilities. they are entitled, they believe the world revolves around themselves.

for those minded folks, some day...life will catch them. I have seen it happen. Unfortunately, many times they leave a trail of human destruction in their wake.

    For the innocents, I pray.

So by asking that the laws on the books be enforced instead of making new ones no one will enforce, we leave a trail of bodies and destruction in our entitled irresponsible wake? Please.

Your also the guy who says we should ban guns so no one gets shot by criminals I bet.

Nothing like making laws that people who break them could care less about.

How about addressing the issue with people who could care less about the laws and continue to break them instead of wasting my tax money on making new ones that won't work?

I'm pretty sure our government should be working on actual issues instead of this BS, but then again I'm a self destructive, entitled, grim reaper.

Even if everyone had common sense it still wouldn't mean they'd use it. If there was just one a law against not using common sense then we wouldn't need all the stupid laws to compensate for not using it. Either way it's all unenforceable and we're all caught up in a fucktard cycle of nonsense.

Exactly! Like lowering the volume of commercials on TV. I really fucking hate to have to lower the volume cause the damn commercials are so much louder than the show I'm watching!

    actually...

you are misreading my position. you should go back and read all my posts in this thread to understand my position.

also, you made several incorrect assumptions about my position on laws in your post.

I'd prefer the current laws to be enforced over new ones. I am a conservative anti big government kinda guy. I'm also pro 2nd amendment.

however...reckless driving laws are not being enforced. and yes many with the entitlement mindset are irresponsible on the public roadways...who do leave a trail of destruction.

but, my "entitlement" and "wake of destruction" was meant in the broader sense of life...not just motor vehicle operation.

I believe some newer TVs have the capability programmed in.

Myself...I pretty much record everything I watch...or tune in and pause the program...as to FF past all the carpetbaggers. :D

Intersting that we have distracted driving laws in parts of Canada , and there doesn't seem to be any of the tin foil hat loss of civil liberties many here seem to be afraid of .
