Exactly why I only let my buddy do it!!! I have OCD when it comes to stuff like tint work. It has to be perfect!! Plus I send him so much business he pretty much does my vehicles for the price of film. He also hooks up those I send to him!!

as for the new truck, i say if you're in the financial position to do so, then GO FOR IT!! it's always fun to have nice stuff. Me personally, since I live down in Ruskin near canals and the water, I would prefer to have a boat and keep my truck. Just my thoughts, i'd rather have more toys that are not as nice. But I can't really afford either, but that's a diff story

What I owe on my truck and what trade in is almost the same. Pretty sure I can trade and extend payments and be making close to the same payment for a 4 year newer truck that has no miles and is exactly what I want!!! Gotta talk to bank and dealership and see if the plan in my head coincides with reality!!

I want a Black DCLB Sport Pre Runner with roof rack. Think I can get it for 27 or 28k otd? I sold my stock wheels so, I will let them put the sport wheels on my truck and my konigs on the new truck as well as the lift, bed extender, air intake, and stereo. I still have the stock air intake and stereo.

I'm not sure how the 2012s are priced in our area, but when I was looking at 2011's in aug/sept, the best price i could get was 27,700 otd for sport pre runner, that's with a new tag, so you'd be a few hundred less if you transfer. From what it seems 2012 are a tad more expensive, and long bed is bout 500 more right? also, i would think ur exact truck black long bed might be unlikely to have in stock, so they'd have to trade and not deal as much. Long story short, i think 28K is pretty reasonable, but they'd have to stretch a lil. dealer i got that quote from was courtesy in brandon, i called all around, nobody would even match it, let alone beat it.

regarding stock wheels, I have a set of trd sports I would love to give you so you can trade in with your truck if I may have the other ones with new tread. I'm not sure if that would affect your deal with the dealer or not, if it does as far as money wise on your trade, then don't worry about it. I'll even come over and put them on your truck for you :)

I looked at buytoyota.com which shows upcoming trucks and there is one available on the 25th!! I figured 27k would be low but that's where I am gunna start, think if I can get it for 28 or 28.5k otd I would be getting a great deal!! The intake didn't change correct??

Even if it did I would keep it and sell it on here. I would definitely let u put ur wheels on before I trade it in, it shouldn't affect trade in price. I would rather a buddy benefit than the dealership. The more I can switch out beforehand the better. Figure I will let them do the lift kit as it will only take them an hour to do and they can re-align the front end. The stereo will be a pain though as the double din dash kit is different and they haven't come out with a 2012 kit.

I know the intake is different on the 2012 supercharger kit, but not sure about regular intake??

    more specifically post #9

There's only 2 options for the 12 that I've heard of, the URD and Volant (I think it was volant...).

Since the 12s added an emissions pump in the fender air intake area, many of the aftermarket CAIs don't work, unless you relocate the pump yourself.

don't know if that's really true, but makes sense
