Just drove home in 5.5 hours of traffic.

Could have been worse if I didn't pull some serious mojo.

Frontage roads and little known shortcuts through towns.

I got home at 8:15. My friends, who I was caravaning with, were still at least 2 hours away at the time. They choose not to follow me. Their bad.

The trickiest part... especially if you're impatient like me and can't let it cure for 5 - 7 days.

    5-7 days???

Well, that part should come in Tuesday. Then when I have time to hit it with primer/bed liner. And then put it all back together. Hopefully it will force me to be patient and let it cure that long :D

Thanks man! Been wanting to do this swap for a while now :D I think next I'll try to figure out a way to make the bottom compartment lockable. I saw a thread where I guy made a lockbox, but I'm not able to fab one up.

on a stock truck you have to be in 4 lo. then push the button. it'll blink. i usually turn my wheels hard one way and roll forward to get the gears set. the light will stop blinking and you'll be all set. Once you get home go the grey wire mod. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/4405-grey-wire-mod.html
