Well I had to make a filler piece for the front to mid skid then I had to modify the rear skid to fit. The transfer case (rest skid) was hitting the exhaust and the exhaust hanger.

Someone explain this to me, if these are supposed to be 'custom made', why can't the fabricator actually make these to fit? Just seems like they should be able to make something that is truely bolt on?

They most likely fit perfect if you buy all 3 skids from one vendor . But when you buy from more then one vendor they don't always go together good.

I need to do the same when i get back, not gonna deal with it now.:)

Different skids from different fabricators,i have an ATO front skid and an All-Pro transmission skid and there is a 1"-2" gap between them.
Proably should have got all ATO skids.

Ooh.. I thought you guys bought all the skids from a single vendor. Either way it'd hit the exhaust and hanger though, right? Ordering them all from one vendor would eliminate the gap issue but not the issue of contacting stock parts right?

Well the front one is Ato. No problem at all with the fitment there. The next 2 are relentless and the mid skid fit fine just had to match the two. The third one however is solely on relentless. There was no way the exhaust hanger should have been over looked and the relief at the y pipe was pressing right on the exhaust. Nice looking parts just didn't fit good at all. Lesson learned, if your gonna buy skids plates for your Tacoma, buy all ato.

Well my night was not too successful. The nuts to hold the winch down were not in the box like I thought and home depot didn't have anything to match. So the winch is zip tied in and not wired. I also forgot to get the actual in out switch from otrattw for the winch so I didn't bother installing those.

It is a 3/8 bolt but something is weird with the threads. HD had grade 5 and grade 8 and both nuts wouldn't thread on.

Anyone got some offset 16" wheels? Like the 16" 4runner wheels? I'll trade my TRD O/R wheels a geolandars for them!
