If he had a 2012 he would be singing a different song.

So...are you agreeing it's a horrendous looking front end, or is this the part where you complain about my language?

I wouldn't trade my truck straight up for two brand new 2012s. Not after all the sweat, wrench time, and custom work I have in it.

Opinions are what they are. No one is making any of you care except yourselves.

    I always liked this...

Actually, I think the front end of the 2012 looks just fine...I must like it because I traded my 2010 for one last Wednesday.

And no...I'm not complaining about language, just stating the facts. :D

You have a real nice truck...and it's obvious you put a lot of work into it.

I'd love my truck too if I had a ton of sweat and wrench time into it, who wouldn't. However, the OP wasn't asking anybody's opinion of whether or not they liked the 2012 front ends, he just simply wanted to know more about the "skid plate" in the photo.

And? Someone asking a question does not preclude someone else from registering an opinion.

You may even notice, if you go back and read, that I answered the OPs question before noting how hideous the truck is.

In come cases sure. But he didn't ask if anyone liked the part in question, rather if anyone knew more about it. AND, you didn't even answer the OP's original question. You've "registered your opinion" more about how much you dislike the 12's rather then helping answer OP's question. Plenty of other threads in here for you to go register your opinion about the new 2012's.

I emailed bushwacker and they say they didn't make it. The guy there thinks it is a Toyota part.
