HOW DID I DO ON OUT-THE-DOOR PRICE?

Paid $33.7k out the door for a 2012 Tacoma Doublecab Sport Upgrade + Convenience Package. Shortbed, 4x4, with Entune and 18" chrome wheels. Sticker alone was $35,155. I'd like to think I got about as good of a price as you can on this model.

Do you have any data to support this statement? My research shows I got an unbelievable price. Please show. The out-the-door price on the sticker would have been in the $37k range had I paid full value. I think 10% below sticker is pretty fricken good.

I dont think they realize the taco's got a few bucks more expensive in the last year or so. It sounds like a good price. It would have been outrageous when I bought my 2010

 

Out the door differs from state to state depending on taxes so in his state he might have got a really good deal but some people have got the exact same truck for around 30k out the door.

I can't imagine that this Tacoma ($35,155 sticker) could sell anywhere for $30k out the door. That's almost impossible. You're talking several thousands (at least) under invoice. Just ain't happenin with these bad boys.

I challenge anyone to show me a better deal than I got on the same model.

 

If sticker was 35,115..you only paid 4% under sticker

 

What I actually paid for the vehicle itself was 10% off sticker (roughly $800 below invoice). Add taxes. Still untouchable as far as an out-the-door price.

I was just looking for rational feedback that could be backed up with factual data. Not just a bunch of haters with general opinions because they probably paid too much for theirs.

 

Butthurt OP, look at the linked thread. People have gotten better deals than you and worse deals than you. Just because you got below sticker, that isn't something to be that proud of. Anyways welcome.

This is why I will never buy another new Tacoma. Sounds like you did OK but damn for that price I would buy a F150.

 

you were looking for feedback, you got feedback, then argued it? lol and your saying they paid too much for theirs... yet they are saying you paid too much. somehow that means they paid more than you..

 

You are correct. Under sticker is nothing. $800-1000 under invoice + lifetime oil changes, + a free bug shield is something to be proud of.

 

Why ask if you got a good price if you are going to get upset at people giving you their answers?
