Dayum, that shit looks military grade! Looks like I have an excuse to drive to a place where radar detectors are illegal but somehow guns actually aren't. :)

Or just pay out the butt for shipping. Lol. Either way works.

I just wonder if it's possible to get a plate bumper without any unnecessary (i.e. not counting the slot for the winch mechanism) holes cut into it. I'm not jiving with the holes.

And I would kind of prefer factory-style foglight mounts, too. Yeah, I know, I'm getting picky - but still.

As Jhodge mentioned, they're on the front page in this thread. I have their Hybrid, and I'm a big fan of it. Here's a little information for you on the build quality we're talking about:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=m_m8fai4yeA

If you give ATO a call, I have no doubt they'll work with you to get you exactly what you want. I'm a very picky bastard and everything Kevin's built for me has been exactly what I wanted.

The ONE downside: He has pretty long lead times. It's not unusual to wait 6ish months or more for a bumper. The man is busy.

Rear bumper suggestion and or advice from the TW gods.

I have an 05 OR DCSB with a 3" lift, my rear bumper seems to be a magnet for DA's. I have had bicycle riders run into it, and been involved with several hit and run's at a parking lots. Needless to say it looks pretty banged up. I would like to replace it with something more solid such as AllPro but, I tow- I tow a boat that has some weight to it and I tow it as often as I can. :)

The factory tow hitch has 10 bolts connecting it to the frame and I am not comfortable dropping it down to 4. Does anyone have any words of wisdom, is there anything out there aftermarket that will meet my picky taste and needs?

Call Kevin at ATO. He makes a hidden hitch for his bolt-on rear bumper that it beefier than the stock hitch.
I towed my ATV's with zero concern.

Also worth noting: ATO re-uses the stock mounting locations for mounting the bumper to the frame, which means you get all 10 of your bolts back.

    Talked with Kevin about that.

"All my business since that thing went up has been word of mouth. I'm not puttin' another dime into it."

Make sure you have the right Armor Tech...there's the one who's a vendor on here, and another one that has nothing to do with Toyota trucks.

    Odds and Ends
Ok, so my 2012 plate bumpers are just about ready to roll. I will be taking orders within a few days. They will be available with or without the LED cutout which is designed for a 20" Rigid Single row. Fog lights are designed for Rigid Duallies or a smaller for around 3 to 3.5", fog cutouts will also be optional. I will be adding headlight and center hoop tube options as well. 3/4" D-ring mounts welded to main structure thru front face are standard as well as hi-lift cutouts. Main structure is 1/4" and face and left and right wings are .135" (10 ga) The fairlead area is backed up with 1/4" plate as well to ensure plenty of strength at any winching angle. All bumpers will be supplied with formed and gusseted backing plates that add additional strength to the factory locations by tying into cros-smember and back into main part of frame where sway bar locates leaving the mounting area for front reservoirs open. Here are a couple shots of the prototype before podwercoat.

That's an exceptional piece of work right there.

I love how all of the different fabricators put out their own spin on these.
