I am willing to bet 2 guys threw it into the back of a truck, threw a tarp over it and off they went.....sucks.

Since its only a 250 it wouldnt be too hard for even 1 person tweeking hard to do it alone.

I caught someone trying to steal some shit out of my truck and I beat his ass so bad I thought I was going to jail, I ended up breaking his right middle finger by bending it backwards as hard as I could till it snapped as a lesson to him. I was a lot younger then and a bit more aggressive. It was a drunk guy and he stole my walkman and caught him walking away with it on his head!!! You can imagine the rest...

Ryan, I really hope you get it back, I am sure it was some stupid kids that wanted to joyride it around till then get caught....really sorry about that. If I see it I will personally whoop some ass if at all possible

    Hi gang,

Just a short note to let you guys know we got back from 2 weeks in Baja (2,622 miles on the Tacoma)... and it was an AWESOME vacation... Took about 1,000 photos all the way to the tip (Cabo San Lucas) and back. I will be working on a trip report and picking what photos to include... The Tacoma was flawless, with only one flat from a rock that caused a previous patch to fail (hole in same place on the one tire that had a flat before).

This was where we were over the past 15 days...

Baja California July 2012: 2,622 miles

Day 1 (Saturday July 14th): To Shell Island via Tecate, Mexicali, San Felipe.

Day 2 (Sunday): To Bahia Concepcion via Coco’s Corner, Calamajue, Guerrero Negro, Santa Rosalia.

Days 3, 4 (Monday, Tuesday): At Bahia Concepcion plus Mulege dinner.

Day 5 (Wednesday July 18th): To La Paz via Loreto and Ciudad Constitucion.

Day 6 (Thursday): To El Triunfo, Real de Santa Ana, San Bartolo, Los Barriles, Punta Pescadero, San Juan de los Planes, La Paz.

Day 7 (Friday): La Paz Museums, La Balandra, El Tecolote.

Day 8 (Saturday): To Todos Santos, El Pedrito, Cabo San Lucas, El Tule, San Jose del Cabo, Santiago, Las Cuevas, La Paz.

Day 9 (Sunday): To: Isla Espirito Santo, Isla Partida, Las Tres Virgenes Restaurant.

Day 10 (Monday July 23rd): To Bahia Concepcion via Las Pocitas, Cd. Constitucion, Ligui, and Loreto.

Day 11 (Tuesday): To Bahia Asuncion via San Ignacio, Punta Abreojos, La Bocana.

Day 12 (Wednesday): At Juan y Shari’s Bahia Asuncion Bed & Breakfast, Fossil Hunting.

Day 13 (Thursday): To Bahia San Rafael via Vizcaino, Pozo Aleman, San Francisquito.

Day 14 (Friday): To Shell Island via Bahia de los Angeles, Laguna Chapala, Bahia San Luis Gonzaga.

Day 15 (Saturday July 28th): To San Diego via San Felipe, Mexicali and Tecate.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The photos and report will explain why Baja California is an awesome adventure-land and the Tacoma TRD is a superior vehicle made for Baja (and made in Baja, too)... Stay tuned to the TW Travel Forum.

Hey Jason, the gear oil had to be one of the reasons for our perfect Tacoma performance! Thanks for doing such a good job in that change before our trip!

Maybe its the vehicular equivalent of walking around with your pants below your ass...
