Can I remove one bolt at a time, apply blue loctite, and torque to specs without messing anything up?

Started working on ideas/measurements for a bed cage/rack. :spy:

I want it to be able to fit up to a 40" for when the time comes. All I could think of to picture how things would fit was some cardboard.

    2012-08-19_19-04-00_648_21cd0ff3d0ad7f0bdf816acd4488065d2ebd921a.jpg

Anyone know what the dimensions are for a jerry can?

Current idea is room for 2-3 jerry cans near the cab, along with a CO2 tank. Removable box on the side for spare drive shaft, CVs, recovery stuff. Other side would be for the hi-lift.

    Any thoughts/suggestions on this?

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. One idea to consider is using a ABS plastic tube for your spare CV/driveshaft. You can cap the ends and keep the spares nice and clean.

If it were me (which it kinda is since I'll be doing it this way) I would put the driveshaft/CV in the tube and mount it under the bed. Then still use a box in the bed like you're talking about for recovery gear. That's what I did with my old '93 SAS truck. It was a great setup actually. Spare under the bed, and a couple ammo boxes bolted to the bed for recovery gear on one side and tools in the other box.
