any body have a good link for a 2nd gen with 4.10 gear info?

I know my mileage was gonna take a shit...but 14-15mpg HIGHWAY at 65-70 kinda sucks after lifting/33's...the truck is a DOG when it comes to towing anything or even having a decent load in the bed of the truck. I towed my aluminum trailer (300lbs) and my 2 quads (400lbs each) about 2 weeks ago to the poconos and it was struggling going up the hills.

i towed a 2000lb trailer with a jeep cherokee on it when it was stock and honestly the truck felt better doing that then with these smaller loads.

Im thinking re-gearing eventually to get it back to normal/maybe get a mpg or 2 back

finished all mine yesterday before i headed to beach....
got loaded at beach then sobered up and went to drive home late night and bam no headlights......
turns out some d.b. in a rush to get to beach forgot to connect the new pos. wire from battery to new aux fuse box:eek:
then bam let there be light again.....
this is why you no rush out to beach people......
but seriously should take about 10 mins to do your battery terminals ends
especialy if u know anything about electric

you guys? I only have one vehicle.

The difference is age and bills. When I was young and living at home I had 3 vehicles. 12 second mustang, brand new Explorer, and a rice rocket.

Just think youll be retiring in another 10 years so you can buy some more toys then old man

    10 years..i got 30 to go:eek:
only been doing the union thing for 15 years...rest was all off the books making real cash......

there will be no s.s. when my time comes so i am dumping all my cash into my 401k i think its capped at 12k a year......but in 10 years i will buy my first home and pay it in full "no where near this state tho"
but i will say i have been leading a rock star lifestyle for the last 20 years..kinda oppisite what others do.....
others work their asses off during the younger years and then try n sit back to retire...well i spend everything on trips and such and party like its 1999 and then ill get serious when im older:D

whata you mean???? what wire fell off?????
and i don't know if you have or pay your own ins... but for me a second car would be more then the $450+ i pay a MONTH for insurance....

i dont use all that fancy stuff...
i use sheet rock knife to remove wire casing
bolt cutters to cut said wire and same bolt cutters for a crimp then fire up turbo torch and dab some solder on it.......then i seal it all up with the liquid electric tape then the heat shrink over the top...
i will tell you i really l;ike the liquid tape......think it will do wonders here in the nor east......
    i was suprised
all of my electric has now been completed all that is left is to connect all the new lights when ever i put them all in.....and plug in the fuses.....
    wooot
best mod i did was the hard wire the gps im loving that one.....
might do my cell phone next

oh you mean you broke the stock wire to the stock fuse panel under hood?
    how did you do that...
and just cut the end and crimp / solder a new eyelid on.....
and yes i did all the same...all my which lines are run and soleniod mounted all i need to do is mount the winch and connect the pos wire to battery for said winch wire....when the time comes....
all the wiring and switch install took me a few days....
i will tell you it was alot more $ just for cables/ connectors .hell i think i used about 15 - 3/8" copper connectors....loom..heat shrink, ect....
but like i was telling my fiend last night when we leaving the beach and something didnt work.....im like dont worry i got this ...this is why i do everything myself..because then i know whats going on and have a good idea where to look
    :D

Anyone have use for a CRT tv. I have 2 or 3 to get rid of. they are hard to throw away so if I have to put effort into it, I'll give them to who wants em.
