okay i need some help from norcal peeps, it may sound starnge but i've live in my appartment for 10 years now and never had an AC, and my room is always the hottest in the summer and coldest in the winter, i was wondering if anybody got a old portable ac they can sell or give away, if they are not using it.

 

Keep in mind that you are going to have to have it hanging out the window and you probably will have to find a way to seal off the other half of the window.

Wait. That huge place doesn't have AC? Is it just your unit or the whole place? Or is it malfunctioning? That doesn't sound right.

 

just need one of those stand up units, the ac is only in living room and it a window mounted ac but converted to a wall mount, and it work as well as ......well it doesnt work well at all it straight up sucks. plus my room is down the hall so it wont reach anyway, it gets up to 90s in my room some times, cant even sleep.

 

I'm pretty sure that in order to have ac you need to have it circulating from outside. The only stand up thingys are those tower fan type things. I thought there were the stand up kind too because I need one but I was told it needs outside air. I don't understand how they work so I can't really explain about the outside part.
