What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah .6 should be about right but that sub is probably choking.....

I would like to do a 10" sub in my dc but I use that space for tie downs and jumper cables. Maybe if I can do something to where I can keep the speaker, box, and amp all behind the right side then I'll consider it sometime down the road. I have other priorities to spend my money on for the truck right now, lol

 

I installed the blaupunk 8 inch that has a built in amp and works great

 

I had the 8" jbl from the factory but I just wasn't enough

I have the jbl and I was wondering what size that was...for some reason I kept thinking 6.5" It does sound great for what I listen to. This is the only vehicle I've had that doesn't have subs in it but to me it sounds good, that's why i've been contemplating it and if I were to do it, it wouldn't be for a while

 

Installed pop and lock power tailgate. Wired to passenger side so only unlocks on second click. This thing is loud.

Also just installed the front Wet Okole's; hopefully I can get to the back ones tomorrow and then take some pictures.

...and I just hit 2k on my way to work.

Emptied my catch can. I had emptied it last week and wanted to track how much oil it would catch. This is what it had after 356 miles including a long 180 mile highway trip. Now I'm wondering if this is normal for these engines as this seems to be more than what I get on my Mustang with a V8. My truck is pretty new, about 6500 miles so far.

why?

 

Intercepts oil before it gets sucked in the intake plenum and burnt off in the engine.

 

To stop what you see up there from being blown right into your intake. It prevents crankcase blow by waste from being sucked into your intake manifold.

 

Built a dog shelf. She didn't want to get out of the truck after trying it out!
