I carry a Beretta PX4 Storm in my truck. Right now, it's just sitting in the center console, but I noticed it tends to get stuff stacked on it. I would like to mount some sort of holster in the center console. Any suggestions?

Buy a cheap nylon holster and attach it to the inside of your console. maybe 3m double side tape? with it being nylon it wont fit tight like kydex.

Get a Console Vault. If you wanted, you could mount something on the inside.

The vault is a lockable heavy steal container. When I'm not carrying , my pistol is locked inside the vault.

I usually stuff mine (in holster) behind the cargo net inside the center console. Never covered and easy to get to.

I have the Blackhawk Serpa Holster that I took and added the Blackhawk Quick Disconnect system too. I mounted one of the female pieces to the side of the console and my holster snaps in and sits right on the side ready to be drawn if needed. I will add pics here in a minute!!!

Thanks!!! It's one of two I have!!! Nice part about this setup is that it comes with 1 male part (connected to holster) and 2 female parts (part male part goes into)!! So I hooked one female part in the truck console and the other I put up on a spot in my bedroom where my 3 year old can't get too!! When I get home I just unhook it from the truck and place it in the house!!!!

The issues I have with this is if you need your gun fast, you are screwed.

I like the under the desk mount as I'm ordering the same thing for my FNP.40 that I carry along for the ride.

Fobus holster with Vehicle mount is my top recommendation! FTW!

I did this with my XD 9mm: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/guns-hunting/83777-new-holster-set-up-using-pos-xd-holster.html

I dont know if your gun has a similar holster but im sure any plasic one can be made to work. I am also waiting on my Wet Okoles to come in with the gun pouch on the front of the seat.

How did you mount the disconnect to the side of the console? Screws?

Yes the quick disconnect kit comes with chicago style screws. I just drilled 2 small holes for them to slide through. If you guys want I can take better pics tonight when I get off work?? Let me know!!! Here is what a chicago screw looks like in case you are not sure what I am talking about.
