Ok, so I took my 2008 tacoma to the dealer to see about fixing the problem of it bottoming out with about 450 pounds in the bed. While the dealer acknowledged the TSB for 05-07 and that there was no difference in my suspension, they stated that because mine is an 08 it wasn't covered.
Does anyone know if they are planning to update the TSB to include 08 or if I am just stuck with a truck with the carrying capacity of a Corolla.

If they didn't change the suspension, they will fix the TSB to include the 08. I had to wait for a little bit until they covered the 07.

yeah, give it a bit more time, or call the 800 number posted here and see what the toyota reps say. they may call your dealership and have it taken care of for you.....just a thought!

I called the Toyota 1 800 and they referred to the dealer. Maybe just luck and persistance but they did it 3-11-08. It raised the rear .75" and made for a nice firm but not harsh ride.

on most 08's....they have the same crappy 3 leaf setup on them. and alot of dealers arent doing anything until toyota revises the tsb to include the 08's also. you can try your dealer and see what they say though!

i was rejected from the dealership cause i have mine lifted, with blocks. i called the 800 number and gave my complaint to them, explaining that this had been going on for the first 38,000 miles. thats when i put the lift on. i'm at 45, 000 now and not happy. the dealer won't even let me take it back to stock. i'm not pleased to say the least
