What is the difference between self etching primer and regular primer? Also, what would be best for my stock bumper? Im going to repaint mine and I want to do it right this time

Self etching primer apparently sinks into the metal

I don't want to be the master of obvious here but...

self etching primer etches the metal it's spray on creating greater surface area for paint/primer adhesion

    For the bumper:

    wash/rinse/dry
    sand with 220 grit
    clean surface of dust
    use self etching primer
paint with high quality spray paint

You are correct. But you will still need to ruff up the chrome.

    Rotated tires.

Figure, hmm, good time to see what this DD handles like with the sway bar off. Removed links and zip tied it up...

The 881s do a good job. Get a little corner dive in evasive action and off-camber turns, but otherwise nice, and does well on banked turns and even feels a little more smooth overall (thanks, Mike (Digiratus), for some inspiration). Took it off for now.

    Thanks.

If you guys can clean up some of those cuts and get it dialed in, I'll be ordering a switch plate up.
