BTW i had never done anything like this until i bought my taco but i have been inspired by all the DIY . Headers, urd pulley , next is the URD tcai witch i ordered last week but i was told a pipe is on back order so as soon as it gets here i will install and then take to unichip for custom tune!

Looking really good man. Get that sucker tuned, and post up the dyno.

Any guesses at what it will make?

    Thanks,
I am like a kid on christmas morning...exctited and playing with my new toy.
Since this is all new to me I am not exactly sure. Supercharged stock is supposed to be 304 hp. With dtlt headers, urd pulley, trd cat back, and custom tune from unichip my guess is 340 hp. I have nothing to base that on just a guess.
I saw ur build and read ur posts what would ur educated guess be?

Are you going to have an intake on there as well, or the factory one?

Just talked to urd. Looks like the parts wont be in till later this week. So I am looking at next weekend before the install. I will order the upgraded fuel pump from them as well. Make a weekend project of it I quess.
How hard is the install of the new pump?

Intake headers and pulley, I would guess around 315-320 whp and 330 wtq.

As for the fuel pump, the fastest time I have done one was in ~30 minutes. I have done a lot though. Take your time. Test the pump. Make sure to read the instructions thoroughly. Make sure to plug the connectors in all the way. Make sure to be low on fuel before you start.

    Have a Dremel tool.

I just ordered the urd fuel pump upgrade and hopefully my tcai will ship off soon. I plan on putting them in next weekend if they arrive. Then I was going to have in run on the dyno pre and post unichip custom tune to put up some #'s. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I've put 5000km on it already ;) No mods other than TRD Exhaust. I felt it really wake up after about 3000km ironically...it honestly feels like it picked up another 20-30hp after I drove it a while...my dyno directly after the install was...not impressive. It will be interesting to see what my new dyno numbers will be after driving it as the butt dyno says it will be alot more.

I'm also waiting for the new URD cheater pulleys and will be ordering the URD Y-Pipe when I place that order...still thinking about Short Tubes but will most likely hold off.

Definitely looking forward to your dynojet numbers!

Just remember, that the short tubes will most likely cost more than the long tubes. Due to labor cost of welding and all.

The URD Y will wake things up very nicely on your boosted truck.

I'm not worried about the cost/labour etc... more or less don't really like bypassing the O2 sensors...I most likely will just do a cai, cheater pulley and Y-Pipe and that should be enough...I've got my other beast to keep me boost happy ;)

Good deal. I figured that would be the case, but also just wanted to mention that cost part for others to keep in mind. Due to a recent PM conversation.

Take some pics and post them up.

How much would I benifit with the URD Y pipe. I already got rid of my front cats with the dtlt headers. Would I see much difference? Also how much louder will my truck be with the y pipe. I am happy with the tone and loudness now. But if its not much louder and gives me a noticible diffence I would do it.

Guess I will never know if my charger would have woke up like urs did...i just skipped that step and went for the dtlt headers and the urd cheater pulley. But that pulley really woke things up! I called gadget about a month ago and asked when he would have stock looking cheater pulleys available and he said a couple months. I am way too impatient so I just ordered it. So glad I did! Of course I guess it voids our sc warranty but according to the white sheet included so does installing my headers so agian oh well.
Fed ex is going to be delivering my tcai and fuel pump upgrade this Friday so next weekend I will have a few projects. Will post dynos when done. Although I have an automatic and herd it can he tough. Will keep u all posted.

Unichip is complete plug and play. I had them install it for me right after I bought my truck. Took me 10 min to take out before I took it to the dealer to install the SC.
