i think the wood would look cheaper looking than full color.

Those kits are crap. But if you like it go ahead it's your truck. Every single car I've seen with them it's always half peeled off and you can tell its fake.

I think a red kit on the inside would be color overload.

If you want the color, paint it or hydrodip (or whatever that process is called). You couldn't pay me to put on one of those cheap sticker kits.

I had one of those carbon fiber stick on kits on my jetta and it looked great, the simulated wood grain always looks like crap though

x2. REAL carbon fiber would be ridiculously expensive.

Personally, I'd like a brushed aluminum or stainless stereo surround and trim pieces to replace the plastic. It'd also be expensive as hell... :(

Take off the dash peices...cover in thin grey, black pebble leather,or swede. On the edges, have to french double stich the two pieces. Take to an upolster to stich, not expensive, just looks it. I.M.H.O.

    This.

I put one on my '03 Tundra and it looked like shit.
    Complete waste of money.
I ended up ordering the woodgrain parts from the Limited. The only thing that I kept out of that stick-on kit was the thin line that stuck on the edge of the cluster surround. It was positioned in a way that you couldn't see the thickness of the kit.

The window/lock control panels looked like shit.
The center dash piece was even worse. Even heating, it wouldn't lay down properly. The edges were obvious, and it just looked horrible.

What he said. If you are able to see the edges, it'll look like crap IMHO.

Stick on kits suck, they stick out way too much for my liking. My last vehicle I used 3m di-noc vinyl, looks like cf and has kinda like a matte finish to it. When done right it looks factory.

I am a CF freak. Don't know why...it all started with my motorcycle. Anyways, just bought a new Taco and found a CF dash kit for $302.63 marked down from $378.29. I suppose it's because no one will buy it! I was intrigued and did some research. There is a company out there that makes this stick on sh*t, but with their CF, they really do lay it out on top of 3M adhesive sheet and then bevel the edges so it blends in well with the rest of the interior. Never seen it in person, so can't justify. I think this has the potential of looking awesome, but still can't get past 3 years down the road and it's a hot summer day and all 48 pieces just fall off simultaneously! F_CK!
