My dad is here visiting CA for the first time! Today we spent until 2PM sitting around my place, waiting for FedEx to deliver my new phone-- mine crapped out last night a couple hours before I had to go to the airport. Then we went to the ATT store & the guy accidentally kept my memory card, so we'll be going back there tomorrow to get it.

On the way back, a flying rock chipped my windshield. It's not too bad but I should get it repaired. Do you guys know if there's anywhere in/around Oakland or Berkeley that's better than the others? Yelp has almost all 5-star reviews for Le Glass so right now that's my top pick.

We use Safelite nationally but for some reason Safelite in Oakland is slow. We switched to All Star Glass in Oakland and they are much quicker

I'm guessing synthetic is the line you would want to go with, right? Lighter/stronger? Know anyone in the norcal area that can do coil swaps? I'd have to take out my 650 coil and put in a 700 pounder to handle the winch.

I gotta do mine at some point but I haven't done it before. I need to look into getting mine rebuilt too but I wanna do it myself since it doesn't seem that hard.

I'm talking about how my truck would look with all of that weight added to the front.

I try and do all the work I can on my truck myself but messing with coils is not something I'd be comfortable with. That and I don't have a compressor. I'd rather just remove the shock and see if someone could do the swap for me. I'll probably deal with this later as I'd rather have my new tires than a winch right now.
