Anytime I've ever priced stuff at 4Wheelparts -they're always too damn expensive.

Welll....I cant remember the topics that bugged me, it just seems that they try to push everything they sell. And they are WAY off base about a TB spacer on a fuel injected engine. I sent them some dyno slips showing they were wrong, and never got a reply. They also lead people to belive that what works on a Ford also works on a Toyota, and so on.

oh yeh i have read that about TB spacers. but hey, i mean we're smarter than that tho. :D they do however have nice ads about specials and stuff from time to time. i do like the articles and write ups though. for the most part the grammatical is superb

I haven't ordered from them in YEARS (like 10) and I still get the magazine. In fact, I just got the May 2009 issue today.

Go elsewhere ... they suck big time. Take their price to Discount and they will match it and take care of you. They CAN get them even though they do not normally stock them.

The 4WheelParts store here in town has excellent customer service and they price match even from internet prices, they honored prices that Discount Tire wouldn't and had cheaper installation. Also their in store prices were the same as everywhere else and their service prices were cheaper than most places here. They were also able to align my truck after the dealership didn't do it right. I've never dealt with them on the phone or through the website though.

Like Chris mentioned, you probably need Lug Centric wheels not hub centric. Although ours are Hub Centric, the center bore on most aftermarket rims is too small to fit our Tacomas. I had to order Lug Centric for mine.

Everything I can find points to the Tacomas being Lug Centric...

Tacogrande emailed Spidertrax and they said the late-model Tacomas are hub centric. According to them, putting lug centric spacers on the wheels cause vibrations.

I've done a little searching around and the guys on the FJ forums state that theirs are also hub centric.

I don't know other than what others have said. All I know for certain is that the hub centric version of my rims don't fit.

    Hmmm...Interesting..
Oh well....Seems that Lug centric works fine, too.
