Ok, I'm getting closer to making a deal on a Tacoma and looking at my preliminary build. This one is probably boring for most here, but thought I'd share anyway:

    2012 DCSB
    Silver Streak
    SR5
    [IMG]

Method Double Standard Matte Black 16x8
    [IMG]

    Toyo Open Country AT/2
    265/75R16
    [IMG]

    Bilstein 5100s.

Right now it's looking like I'll be able to get it for $30,200 out the door. Is that a good price?
Also, any suggestions on the shocks? I keep reading on here about the 5100s. All I'm really looking for is something substantially better than stock. Something with excellent control on the road, but still can still perform well off-road.

you should be able to do significantly better out the door, I managed to do way better on a 2012 sport DCSB.

I do like those wheels a lot, and 5100's are a great investment to get you leveled on the cheap. I really noticed no difference between the stock O/R bilsteins (my 07) and when i swapped out to the 5100's as far as ride quality is concerned

Really? I thought it was a decent price. Everyone else is about $1000 more and I've called just about every dealer in DFW area. What is a more realistic target price for '12 DCSB 4x4 SR5?

    That's 2wd, though. I'm shopping 4wd.
