ANy bulb that is the correct size... if you got the d2s kit then you need d2s bulbs, if you got the h1 kit then you need h1 bulbs. But yes, any brand will work. Although with quality projectors I recommend quality ballasts and lights

If you look at the last TRS group buy (rd 9) it took 14 days to get the 25 confirmed names...it could take a bit longer or it could be a few days sooner, all depends on how many want to do the retrofit and are actually interested in better lighting for their trucks!

Just so you know, the 25% off deal is for the complete kit that comes with projectors, HID bulbs, ballasts and the wiring harnesses needed. You might want to PM AndrewTRS and ask him about just getting projectors as typically the items sold individually are not part of the group buy.

So I assume you have to hack up the headlight yourself? Is there anyone that offers to provide complete set ups, new housing included?

Talk to Asianants. I'm not sure if he'll provide the housing also but he'd be a good place to start.

Also, all you have to do is heat the housing, pull the clear lens off, install the projector and seal them back up. Single day job. The H1 and D2S projectors don't require cutting of the factory housing.

Another option, buy a Depo brand, or another set of OEM housings, retrofit them, then sell off your stockers for what you paid for the other set. That's what I did when I painted my headlight bezels.

Couple of questions, is there tax and shipping costs? Does the 4300k look yellowish, CayucosTacoma any ideas since you had them? The output looks white to me. I like the white look so I'm assuming 5k would be best.

This is a rough guide from the lighting section
    [IMG]

5000K is pretty much pure white. I've got 5000K in my motorcycle and am undecided on 5000K or 4300K. 4300K supposedly has more useable light but the HID's are so bright I don't think you'll really notice.

Not sure about tax and shipping.. but as for 4300 vs 5k the headlights are 4300 and off road lights are 5k.
I'm really undecided on bulbs temp too.

Thanks, yeah I really like the all white look, so maybe 5k, but also the output will travel up in K as they get older, so maybe 4300k.

Dang the color looks really close. Thanks for the picture.
