So guys, while we're on the topic of rear leafs...
I have the F67 pack and I did the 52.5" distance but something is very wrong.

The shackles are almost touching the frame at ride height. Did I make a huge mistake? I guess I'll just move the shackle mounts back until the shackle angle is ok. Thoughts?

What length are your shackles? Who made them? Are they made for a first gen?

looks fine have you cycled it yet? the shackle should stop moving and the spring should start compressing before they hit

    EDIT:
    that boxed part may hit

Are those new F67's? That does look pretty leaned back for having no extra weight in the bed. Also you may need different shackles. The boxed part is in the way and should allow the eye of the spring to get much closer to the frame before the shackle touches anything

Looks fine to me. Here's mine after I fixed the pivots, but with saggy leafs:

Here's Matt's before he got the AP leafs, but his pivots are too far back.

Since he's running Giant Shackles I think what he's saying it that they're already hitting the frame in the current position. Due to that little box they Build on the end.

12" shackles from the giant spring under kit.

I haven't cycled it yet but I can jump on the rear frame and hit the frame with the shackles.

Yeah they're brand new. We had this discussion about how these leafs seem flatter than yours, but the ride height seems ok. I can make new shackles like yours with no boxed section.

I'll build my own then. So the angles should all be good then?

Send Supermoto a PM and ask for a photo of the shackles he built a while back. Mine work fine but his look much easier to make

yes... you could always cut out the boxed bit and jump on em again and try and cycle it to assure the angles are correct

I have to take my truck into the shop to make my bedcage, so I'll have to cycle my leafs for shock placement. I'll probably just make shackles then too.
I'll post some pics of cycling when I'm building, hopefully soon. Thanks for all the help guys, hugely appreciated.
