Hi!

Hello, my name is Chris. I live in Halifax, and I have been lurking on here the odd time over the years, and decided to join, after seeing the wealth of knowledge on here (and boy do I need it alot, lol), and hopefully I can contribute some throughout my time here. About a month a go I purchased a new 2012 taco, v6 4wd sr5 with the performance package (at least that's what it's called in Canada) access cab automatic, black.
This is not my first Tacoma, I have also owned a 98, and a 99. Loved them, but they were sacrificed to the frame recall, and although getting paid out for them was nice, I hated to see them go. So rather than look for another older one I bought a new one!
I haven't done any mods really yet, except I've plasti-dipped my badges to work towards blacking it out. I ordered an ARE cx model cap for it. I am not a big fan of caps, but I need something to lug my dog around, cause he will destroy my interior! (he's a Basset hound by the way).
I will be asking questions someday about mods I would like to do, but I'm not new to forums, so I will always search before my questions, to make sure I dont ask one that has been asked 1000 times before.
Anyway, looking forward to being a member here, and discussing topics on here with enthiusiasts like you guys/gals here!

Thanks guys! And Drew, I just read all 29 pages of mostly meet up tag from the local thread, lol. I have seen some of your guys' tacos around. There are some nice modded ones around here. I am on the Halifax side, and don't get to Dartmouth too often, but hopefully I can get to a meet just to say hello atleast.

It is only a bridge... come on over. But for those folks that can't make it that far, we're always open to having a meet on the Halifax side. Join the thread and set a date, time and place. I'm sure the regulars would make it over. If we got enough trucks, we could alternate weeks/meets.
