Well I've been on a few of the roads before, but never had time to connect them. If you google map the area, to a satellite/hybrid view, I've been on FR 462 from the Hyw 66 side ( over by Zuzax), but never from the Chamisoso side, and it looks like they connect. The other rout I'd love to check out some time is off of Juan Thomas Rd (a little further south down S14 from Chamisoso). The road is FR 542, its pretty fun with a medium difficulty water fall thingy on it to play on, but the part I want to check out some day is if it connects to 462. If you look on the satellite images, the top of 542 is below Cedro tower, if you follow it out zoomed in, there is two track all the way over to 462, but it doesn't show it as a road, so I'm not sure if there might be a gate somewhere.
I do believe the Chamisoso road over to Zuzax is a pretty safe bet, and I've heard it's mellow, but beautiful.

I think it would be best to head up by coyote to four corners. Then from there we can cut across on 12 or head up 5 hills. 12 is tighter and a little rockier in places and you can make it up 5 hills in a stocker np but its a fun ride. They both lead to the same place and from there we can hit a pretty gnarly hill climb and a few more play areas around the top area.

Anyone got suggestions for UCAs? Looking at LRs for the alignment adjustment but wondering if Total Chaos or other uniballs will work just as good.

Been researching all afternoon and getting frustrated. Peeps just say they will help but no specifics.

For what they cost... aftermarket UCAs are a bit over-rated for first gens IMHO. Especially if you're not lifted over 2.5".... Even 3" though... dunno. My alignment's been fine without them, and I'm sitting at 3" even. Maybe even a bit more....

I'm trying to get some caster back. My numbers look good otherwise

    Camber Left: 0.0, Right: -0.1
    Caster Left: 5.0, Right: 5.4
    Toe Left: 0.15, Right: 0.18

The other thing is tire clearance. Looking at going to 285s, possibly 295s. Don't think that that is a discriminator in aftermarket UCAs but from what I've read, a discriminator in using the stock UCAs.

From what you're telling me, unless I want to pay for looks, stick to the LRs.

Silas, saw the Green Dragon parked behind your work the other day. Glad it's being driven again. How the hell do you fit those tires with just a 3" lift?

It is actually a side effect of driving without the cluster hooked up, but it is a self clearing code... It

That weird, how far off your caster is... I think aftermarket UCAs will help correct your camber though... not so much the caster. (could be wrong though) Everytime I get an alignment, I tell them to push the caster as far foward as possible! My camber seems to be fine at 0.2 and 0.4. :notsure:

Do you know what Backspacing or offset your wheels are? That and the width of the wheel is what determines how far away the tire is from the UCA.

And nah... I can't really give you advice on which UCAs to get, since I haven't researched them fully myself. I know that they help with travel and correcting alignment, but not enough for me to drop a few hundred bucks on. Ya know? :)

    And how'd I fit 35s? Simple...

haha yup. Actually true 35s now! lol The BFG A/Ts were 315/70r17s but my KM2s are 35/1250r17s. I also have 9" wide wheels with 3.5" of backspacing! lol and a still slightly rub the frame at full lock.....

The rims I'm running have 4" BS. I know stock is 4.5". Got them to help with frame rub at full lock. Probably going to either get the LR UCAs or hold off until all signs point to needing them. Ordering some OME 882s tomorrow to start getting ready for my bumpers.

Pretty crazy how much work you put into the grren dragon. Glad you still have it.
