Went out to Tosohatchee WMA yesterday and cruised around. The roads are well maintained, but it was the first time I've even had a chance to hit a dirt road in my truck.
I was wondering if anyone has been out to Swamp Ghost recently. I was looking at it on Google and it looks like there are some decent trails to cruise around on. I'm not looking to sling mud, but I do want to test my truck a little bit. From what I can find on here it was shut down, but Google street view seems to tell a different story.

Yeah, shoot me a message on here when you plan on going. I still have the stock tires and I've never been there. Think they will do the job?

Swamp Ghost, from what I can find, is an area over near Sea World/I-Drive. That's all I know about it.

Osceola is typically wet. Your stock tires should be ok....considering I've got Mudgrips and 4x4.
Probly gonna go with a buddy who has a jeep, in a couple weekends. Let you know

I know of a couple little riding areas in south west FL there the Tram wich you just get on Golden Gate Blvd take it to 10 St S.e and take a right at the at the end and you will be on a dirt road and keep going a couple hundered yards until you pass Ivy Way wich it will say on a old pine Tree and you take the next right and your there if you go out the I live like 2 mins away so just hmu at 239 465 1159 a nother area is EXT all you have to do is get on 951 and go north until you cross over Immokakee Road and keep going north until the road turns into a Trail and your there watch out there is a couple deep holes but also if you are ever in South Sumter Go to Richloam that one of my favorite place to wheel at but BE CAREFUL there is some hole that will swallow a toyota fast but its worth the risk

Hardrock offroad park, been there a few times, great place it's mostly really steep hill climbs seeing as it's an old limestone quarry. You can camp there the owner doesn't really care where, but you have to pay for camping. and its 30 bucks a day to offroad, you have to be off the trails by sundown. The owner has put a few rock gardens in and there is a few mud holes when it's been raining. I'll post a few pics, warn you used to own a tj so they are all of that, lol.

the pictures don't do these hills justice at all.. they are very steep.

    th_113_ee5a308c25aa4a732cb8d6668f4d2f49592a2d8d.jpg
This is the most difficult hill well, almost it is the tallest but there is one that has a lip that when going down the rear of my buddes jeep got air and if he hadn't lost traction on the front it would have went end over end. all in all it has a few technical trails, great scenery camping (we didn't get many pics of the camping area) a place to race dirt bikes and sport atv's (it is primarily a motocross track) and a shower house for the tent campers like me, i enjoyed myself and now because it is kind of a small place (the whole of the trails can be hit in one day with a solid 2 to 3 hour lunch) it is a nice place to visit at least once.. btw in the video of my jeep losing it on the hill and sliding sideways... that was because i listened to my spotter up top who put me into the slickest part of the hill. it was locked on the rear axle and I ran toyo oc at's. sorry if this is an exhaustingly long write up but felt the pictures and descriptions would help those interested. (PS the cheerleader in the last video is my stepson, gotta love his enthuiasm.)
