You could drill them off, sawzall or torch them. I just hammered a socket on mine and they snapped so i tapped the rest out. Honestly once they are off it will literally take 10 minutes to put it back together.

I saw that mod before, not sure how excited I am to start cutting wires to disable it. I dont mind wiring things, but I am not a big fan of completely cutting factory harnesses, if that makes sense.

I need to bring my stock wheels to a shop one of these days so I can pull the TPMS out and make a PVC capsule to stick them in

I'd find out how the inspection place would know about the TPMS first. That mod just shuts off the light, it doesn't disable the system. If there is some sort of code that the ECU keeps track of, that mod will not get rid of it, at least that's my understanding of it.

I thought there was a different mod just to shut off the light and the one you listed tricked the system.

Either way, I am going to do something since I dont want to stare at the light forever.

I could be wrong but the OP made the comment that the TPMS circuit is still live, which led me to believe that all he did was disable the indicator. I just deal with the light.

Just a thought, but when I park next to my garage at night, the light resets and it's off most of the way to work in the morning (original tires and wheels are in the garage with the sensors installed). If you went straight to the inspection station, you might get lucky and not have the system tripped when you get there.

I have my inspectors license in RI. If I see the light on and you have aftermarket wheels, I'm going to tell you "take care if the light and come back" now if the light is not on and I scan with the states emission control database computer it will not pick it up. This is for EMISSIONS only. In order to pass all warning lights must be off.

-No sensors what so ever a ABS code will set.
-Low PSI a warning (light) will illuminate. No code
-Never seen a disabled system obviously and there's no way to catch you.

Holy shit alex those look bad ass. I need sliders before i lift. I am one to be very picky they need to be low profile so i may make my own out of some.i want them to sit under the rocker not above or come out at all

    Thanks everyone! I love em!

Johnny they're painted with rustoleum black. Will be bedlined soon!

Billy, I'll take pictures of the welds tomorrow. They were done by a professional welder haha

Dave talk to xtreme off road 4x4 (http://xtor4x4.com). Great products and he custom builds anything you could dream up!

Shit I love New Hampshire folk! They welded the sliders on, painted them, and fixed the broken weld on the end for $70
