    -----------------------------------------------

    Hey All,

After three days of buying my truck, I had a Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH in-dash navigation system put in. I now have an essentially brand new OEM radio that I would like to pass off to another TW member (I'd love to help one of you as opposed to ebay or Craig's list). This radio came out of a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, TRD Off-Road. I do have the OEM mounting brackets as well.

I'd like to get $250 out of it, but will take the best offer (OBO). I'd like to sell locally if possible (you come pick it up). PM me if you are interested. Post if you have any questions.

    Thanks for reading!

    Hunter

I can't say for sure, I know very little about this  but my guess is that it would.

While the stereos change from year to year and among manufactures (aftermarket), they all need to fit in the same spaces (single din vs double din etc.) or aftermarket stereo manufactures would have to produce hundreds of different "models" to fit the various vehicles. Using the reverse logic, the OEM stereos would need to conform to this as well (same spaces) so a newer OEM stereo should fit in an older dash assuming they are both single or double din.

Please someone correct me if this logic is flawed.

The gaps will be off if used on a pre 2012 Tacoma. Member "Jerez" had a thread about swapping. The wiring should work if you have a non JBL stereo but like I said, fit is off.

It will fit a 2012 just fine but anything under it won't align correctly and won't be flush on the sides.

I like it a lot so far. I know I replaced it quickly :D I didn't know it was going to come standard with the touch screen and I wanted an in-dash navigation system anyways. I will be moving a lot with the Army soon and I don't want to hassel with iPhone navigation while trying to drive. I've posted some pictures and a better description in this thread, Post #23,147:

    Removed the damn stickers!
I agree it would not fit properly in the 2011 and down vehicles. Also on my 2012 non JBL unit it has the typical plug style antenna hole so it looks like you would need an adapter. Also the 2013 does not have a satellite radio connection. Just giving you more input.

In this thread I posted all of the additional items that the Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH required to work with my 2013. Maybe this will be helpful to someone.

The last picture in the original post (sticker on the side of the unit) says it's a Panasonic.
