I want to install fog lights on my 2010. Someone suggested that this was pre-wired although I don't actually have the lights and all I would need is the lilghts and a switch. Understand? Is this guy pulling my leg or are there wires already run? Thanks in advance for your time and answers.

All v6 trucks were pre-wired after a certain year. Pop off the left switch blank on top and the plug should be back there, its black with 4 wires if im not mistaken.

Yours should be prewired. All you need is switch, lights, and relay

About adding a relay, how is that done? I am running HID's to my fog sockets. I am pre wired and I bought the OEM switch. Now when I hook everything up and flip the switch nothing happens. The dealer said the wires are not live but the switch illuminates. It wouldn't be the first time the dealer was wrong. What do I need to do to get the fogs to work without installing the aftermarket wire harness. I should be able to use the stock wiring right?

Open hood check for this relay where the fog relay goes.

Look underneath the cover for where things go.

Where should the relay be if it is there at all?
    Thanks by the way.

Excellent. I ordered the relay and the fog fuse is already in the fuse box.
Thanks a mill for your help with this.
