So I have been waiting for this moment. Everthing is in and I am ready to dyno and get tuned by unichip. There's one problem, I contine to want to do more mods to my truck. The unichip cost $300 to tune each time. I think if I was done with mods that would be fine, but since I plan on doing more I am leaning toward waiting for the URD Ucon ems to come out with a plug and play for 09' and up trucks, because it doesn't cost to retune each time. Plus from the sounds of things the Ucon is much more robust and has the ability to make adjustments on its own. I have a dyno scheduled for next Thursday for a baseline no matter what route I decide to go.
I would appriciate any thoughts on this subject as I have not made up my mind as of yet...

Well I have decided that enough is enough (or until bank account fills up!) headers/cai and sc with the new pulley and the reflash is good for now .barring a major breakdown and or influx of money no plans for fuel pump/piggy back ecu and injector upgrades.Dyno will be mid next month funds permitting and will post results .

Hey Jarhead, I'm currently waiting until the UCON system becomes available for the 09+ just from all the good things I hear from it and what it can do. Just in my opinion if you want your HP like right now then go get a tune, but if you wanna wait for this system that can do its own thing then wait for one awesome EMS! lol

Motec? Yes, it wont be a plug and play application though. And if you were to go standalone, there are better choices on the market.

More expensive than my ProEFI. Very good unit though. But for every added feature you want, you have to pay to have it unlocked.

I believe that Underground Racing uses one of their boxes to tune their Lamborghini's. Could be wrong on that though.

So I think I figured out how to post this thing. It looks like I am missing the first run. I thought I had a run at 310 whp. I asked them to resend the files. I have to say I am a little disappointed. Looks like I am getting the urd y-pipe for sure. With my fuel ratio's do you guys think I should use the unichip option or am I okay to wait for URD's ucon ems to have plug and play?

Numbers look good. But i wouldve thaught you would be closer to the 340hp range with your upgrades... But still good power output. The y-pipe will help free up some ponies in the mid-upper RPM range.

Right now, your AFR's look good. High 11's. A bit strange that if they went WOT, just like everytime you do a dyno pull, that it took so long for the AFR's to drop down to the 11's, but either way, it will be just fine.

And this is considering that you also have a smaller than stock pulley. What psi are you running now? I do not remember.

Also, are you running the FPR mod or no?

URD Y-Pipe will make a noticeable difference. By the end of the pull on Lucario Runner's 4Runner, he was 30+ hp higher with it over the stock Y-pipe. And his is N/A.

He is actually inline with another member on here who has a '12 Taco. That guy's mods are less, and his power output is respectively less as well.

So seeing that guy's dyno and now JarHead's dyno, it is easy to see the improvements gained by JarHead's additional mods.

Purely speculation, but I think the EGR system on the '12+ models, is also hurting power a little.

    ***EDIT***

It was Commanderwiggin's '12 dyno. In this link. > http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/pe...o-after-install-vs-dyno-after-some-miles.html

I don't know what psi I am at. I don't have a boost gauge. No I am not running the frp mod but please tell me more. Right now the fp line is hooked up to my cai...I don't think that line will fit over the boost nipple. Where do I get the proper line and is it okay to not have anything hooked up to the cai nipple?
