That almost looks like it takes away 10-15 HP?

The combination of the K&N, Volant and AFE stickers give 30 HP back so overall it's a gain :D

Its not being rude, its giving input from knowledge either gained by Experience and or read on this and other forums from this thing being tried before. Keep in mind that 99% of all Fords can be tuned via the OBD-II port by some sort of tuner and or laptop, our Toyota's can not, when you change the airflow characteristics beyond the MAF point file ranges you're going to flag a Light and or loos power.
Unless you are going to use a MAF tuner then you may make some small changes. Likewise with the large pool of aftermarket parts manufacturers I'm sure every angle has been tried.

But hey knock yourself out...I need to get more popcorn im almost out...

Eh cut the rookie some slack, he hasn't been around long enough to see what minimal gains (if any) come from this.

Don't sweat it dude, you'll want to get acquainted with the search button, but usually people are pretty willing to help someone out around here... This topic is just beat to death, so guys around here tend to have slim patience for it.

    Chill guys.

OP, its been tried before. Not much you can do to our trucks like you can a ford. Its already been done. ~200+ horsepower is already alot for an NA 4.0L motor. To get much more than we already have, the answer is forced induction.

To the rest of you, chill.

Sooo by aimlessly building something that has been tried by consumer and manufacture will save you time? Interesting angle, and I said site, this site.

    10 second search:
