    The wife and I have a Yellowstone trip planned for this May in it. Have been camping around central LA several times already since we got it and can't get enough. Can't wait for the big trip.

    First time towing today. Had 2 face cord of wood (approx. 3,000lbs,) plus trailer approx 600lbs. Towed it great with no issues. Could have used electric brake help though.

    Also picked up this M416 about a month ago. Haven't towed it in a while since it's back at the farm waiting on me to get back and finish prepping it for paint and outfitting it with expedition gear.

    the pop up that i was towing was a few inches wider than my truck, but not enough where i couldn't see behind it. it would be a different story if the pop up wasn't low enough where i could use my rear veiw mirror on the inside to see straight back. it could be done though. i honestly have no trouble pulling that thing at all.

    We just returned from our first camping trip. We pulled our 2008 Fun Finder 230DS with the Tacoma. The truck performed GREAT!

    The 24 foot coach weighed 4900 pounds unloaded with a 720 pound hitch weight. After adding food, water, clothes, bedding and 60 pounds of firewood the total weight was about 5300 pounds. This load was leveled nicely with a distribution hitch.

    The truck cab was loaded with two adults, three dogs and crates and a cat. The bed of the truck contained folding chairs, a large folding pet crate and tool bag.

    We were able to drive 50-55 mph up most hills and 60 mph on flat stretches of highway. The truck experienced a little bounce traveling over some larger bumps, but never "bottomed-out." The gas mileage was between 13-14 mpg.

    Big thanks to Maverick491 for the "towing Bible". I used that information in making my decision on what size camper to buy. Thank you for taking the time to share!

    It is a Thor Summit 22RB, about 22 ft long and 3926 lbs dry with 416 hitch weight.
