    I need
-one SPDT switch (on/off/on) for back up cam on/off/on when in reverse
-one SPST switch (on/off) for Day Time Running Lights on/off

-they need to match and fit in the far left and second to the left blanks pictured below.. i dont want either of them to be illuminated. Im ok with drilling out the blanks to put in round/square switches... but would be nice to find ones that are direct replacement for the blank opening.

also are there any write up's on how to wire switches into these blanks? it cant be too hard but it's always nice to read up on it before ripping stuff apart.

thanks in advance! any pictures of switches you have mounted in this location would be great!

what's suppose to be in those blanks anyway, other than the Aux port obviously? just curious...

might be a place to start. might be able to use a factory switch and put a new face on it like the method used to make new ac/heater control dials

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/li...ate-control-back-light-face-color-change.html

I know he used it on the AC and Recirculate buttons; maybe the push buttons are the same everywhere else in the truck? Honestly not sure... but it's a place to start looking ;)

Not sure how well that would work for a double throw, but a single throw could be managed from a factory push button switch (like the fog light or locker style switch)
