They look good. I would wait to pull the suspension till you upgrade. Like Ben said.

I had planned too. Im researching to see what would be good shock setup, and also a solution for crappy leaf springs already about shot. Trying to keep a budget though since soooo much to fix. Really looking to go back more towards stock. Not really interested in having it lifted anymore since thats what caused it to roll over in the first place and put me in the place I am now. I got an 87' Chevy for off roading.

Question still stands, keep it lifted or try back to stock and try to level it out? It is a PreRunner.

Also, I don't get anyone liking those wheels!!! They were cheapest ones I could find since 2 of the stock ones got trashed. They are for sale if you like them so much lol.

Agreed. I'd replace it as I'm sure your leafs are near flat or negative with those blocks.

OME 880 and wheelers 4 pack leafs would be pretty much stock

Great, thanks guys. The springs aren't flat, they still have decent arch but Im used to chevys, those small leaf springs and they are starting to get some space between them. I dont like that. I just want to have a smooth riding truck, but first got to fix all the body damage so I wont be ashamed to drive it.

Yeah I tried driving it while it being messed up. It just got annoying because everyone that saw it was asking what happened and commenting on how horrible it looked. Got tired of it and decided to park it until it is fixed... Planned on back to stock set up and then start over with mods. Planning 4x4 swap & S/C one day...

Right now it rides rough, good bit of noise as well, plus I have some mysterious squeak around the bed, I think the tail gate is rubbing or something..

Yeah, the fender can be easily replaced, the roof is a B, and I cannot find any bedsides. The whole driver bed side needs to be replaces, its really trashed, worse than pic. The tail gate barely closes and I could only get two screws in for the tail light. The fuel door is also trashed and I cant seem to find one to match my truck, non locking. Also when it rolled a cigarette must have rolled all over the place because my driver seat has multiple burn holes and a couple in passenger seat as well. I fixed the rad front piece, just pulled it back out, bumper covers it, but driver side of the front bumper assembly is messed up too so that needs replacing. Hoping to get it all replaced then I will paint it, depending on when its ready will judge if I pay to spray or do it my self.

I am a mechanical engineer/designer, I plan to come up with some neat accessories for the Taco. I am planning to design, front and rear bumpers, along with skid plate, light bars et cetera.

I do love the taco but with its condition and all the dirty looks I receive it has been hard to stay motivated. I want to keep it even though everyone is pushing me to sell/trade it. I got high hopes for her! Only 120k miles

Just get a all new box. I found a full cab and body for 500 buck on Craigslist. Swaped em both on. If your cab is strait I'd leave it though. That was a pain in the ass.

Cab is good, nothing that can't be fixed. Only real dent is on passenger side in earlier photos, I believe I can get it out.

I would love to find a deal like that though, but Ive spent the last few months searching craigslist all over my state and haven't even found anything close to what I need. I even searched local junk yards but only a few older model 4runners and pickups. I am not giving up yet though!!

    Head unit. That's it.
You stated earlier that you were going to put it back to stock, then start modding it. (4x4 swap and SC). I know people don't like being told how to spend their money, but that seems really expensive. Since you don't NEED the truck ( since you've currently parked it), why not just go ahead and redo the suspension the way you want it? Just my opinion, but I would think it would be cheaper in the long run, and you wouldn't have to dick with it twice. And as for the body panels......maybe a set of fiberglass?
