anyone into mountaineering in here? Im looking at mt hood soon and am trying to get someone else to go with me. any website suggestions?

 

I've attempted 4 times. Finally summited last year. Right now is not the time of year to climb Hood. Too dangerous with weather patterns. Best time is early spring. I'd it is your first time look at REI I believe they do guided trips

 

its my first time on hood, but ive been climbing/hiking all over colorado, and kilimanjaro. not really into the guided stuff (dont like paying to go walk in the woods). just looking for a local to tag along with. I read after i posted that spring is really the only time to safely climb hood, so i guess ill wait.

I need a waterproof option for bed lights... Maybe just put cheap fogs in the cubby holes?

 

Me Too! Im thinking of doing some Flexible waterproof LED strips from Oznium or something.. and sticking them under the side rails..

Just not sure on how to wire it all up..

 

I used the flexible waterproof LED strips from Oznium, and they have held up really well to the elements.

Wiring is super easy, check out the write-up I did for the engine bay, and just run wires/switch to the bed instead...piece of cake

Rose city gun show is going on this weekend at the Expo center. Worth checking out! I picked up some toys for pretty cheap. Way overkill on the AR's though.
