when I say stock I just mean height wise really. I would love to put some better springs, shocks et cetera, but to me it is all about finding a good deal. Because like you said, It is not my daily driver and doesn't cost anything to sit. I have been searching for parts on craigslist, as in the parts needed for 4x4 swap.

My only thing is, if I stop working on it and just let it sit while I search for hard to find parts in my area I will loose motivation and be more susceptible to selling it, which I don't want to do.

As far as fiberglass goes, I haven't really found any of those either. If fiberglass I would still like stock appearance. I am not really into the wide fenders because I don't plan on making it look modded or stuffing big wide mud tires under it. I already have a mud/trail play toy. Thats my 87 GMC, although shes a big girl and hard to fit on some trails, it is still a blast.

I just want a nice clean looking truck. That performs well and rides good. I've always thought the Tacomas were beautiful trucks and it took me forever to get my hands on one.

Gave it some new shoes. I definitely plan on blacking out the pony emblems. Probably paint a real thick layer of plasti-dip on em. In no way whatsoever do I think this thing's a mustang, but I sure do like the wheels.

CWCID: I'da never done this if I hadn't seen it on raudi's truck. Thanks for the inspiration.

Yeah, these are actually 17s which I think is the right size for these little tacos, but the Ranger would handle 18s nicely. They're just a little more beefy looking truck.

I had some extra rock lights laying around so I wired up some lighting for my engine bay and then also for my floor mats, just thought it would be a cool little mod. here are some pictures.

I just got another switch that turns off the lights when the doors are shut and turns them on when the doors open, wired it into my fuse box, mounted the lights (same LED lights as in the pics below)

my old taco is in the scrap yard waiting to be torn apart... I wasnt at the wheel at the time of the accident. My dad was and it was a total loss, he walked away perfectly fine though which is the most important thing IMO. Thats the reason why I got this one
