2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Bought mine sight unseen in June 2009. Mine (red) and another were on a truck someplace heading for my dealer. The only two not already purchased.
    No regrets.

Love the auto. I've always loved the autos in the 2nd gens. I also love the bucket seats and steering wheel.

    Totally thrilled with my purchase!

Didn't drive it to the office today - had the company car. Will try to snap some pics of it tonight if it's not too dark when I get home. Got my Bluetooth and iPod setup last night. Love it.

nice what color? cant wait for mine either! i do love my current truck but i want an auto, do you feel it lacks power? can u keep up with cars taking off at a light without people tailgating you? thats my prob now since this trans is soo clunky to keep it from grinding 2nd i have to shift from first and hold the clutch for like 3 seconds and by then i slow down at like 15mph and people almost rearend me all the time, just sick of it.

Sorry, it's white. Never owned a white car, but I actually like the look with the black trim.

I drive like a grandpa, and I drive like a grandpa with no right foot when I'm putting the first miles on my cars so I don't know how well it would do keeping up off the line. I've had two of the 4.0L Tacomas and I don't feel like this one is that awful. 65-75 is no problem on the highway either.

Tried to "build my tacoma" on the Toyota website, and it wont let me select Regular Cab, 4x4, with auto trans, 4 cylinder. Is this combination not available for 2013? Judging by comments on this thread, it would seem to be an available set up.

Also, is the convenience package or SR5 available for the Regular Cab for 2013?

I agree! Drove it to work for the first time morning and loved it. I honestly enjoy driving this one more than I did my two double cabs. Crazy.

2013 Regular Cab 4x4 Auto is definitely available - I have one sitting outside (as TwzteD said).

What is the "Convenience Package" you are talking about? What options does that come with? I didn't see any SR5s on the lot, but I have seen them in previous years. I purposely went base as I really like the standard audio system. Mine has the touchscreen audio, Bluetooth (for phone and media streaming) and USB integration but manual windows and locks. Perfect!!

    Badass dude! Congrats! What color?

    Hey y'all,

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but this thread may help me find what I'm looking for. Anyone got a 2011 single cab 5 lug that would like to help me with a Christmas present idea? All I need is a scanned copy of the window sticker from when you bought your truck new.

Here's my thread on why I'm looking for it. Thanks!!!

Nice!! That's the color I wanted but couldn't find one. I actually like white now that I've had it for a few days. Washed it last night. Amazing how easy it is to keep white clean.

    Too few to list.
You might want to test drive the 4cyl 4x4 auto first and see how you like it. I didn't like how heavy and sluggish it felt with the auto.

I thought I would feel this way too and I honestly don't. Keep in mind, I inherently drive like a grandpa...

Not all configurations are available in all areas. The first thing "build" asks for is a zip code - try a Denver zip code and see if that'll let you do it.

But don't expect to be able to get the SR5 option package on the bare-bones regular cab. After the 2010 model year, and with the move from Fremont to San Antonio, Toyota simplified their Tacoma lineup and eliminated some of the "less popular" configurations to cut manufacturing costs.

    Great post.

I know dude! I don't leave work until after it's dark now with the time change.

This bitch parked next to me that is known for dinging doors. I'll be watching our security camera footage extra close. People who are oblivious and irresponsible drive me crazy.

    BYO is screwed up.
It won't accept my zip code.
I used a zip from 20 miles away and it worked.

RC, the only thing available in 4x4 is base automatic. NO options packages available.
Have to go AC to get anything above base.
