This unit is louder. Not necessarily more clear, but 10 on my OEM unit was quiet enough to just get a little background noise when im sitting in my truck on break at work. Now I usually hover around 5. I could go up to about 50-55 while playing my ipod on my factory unit. Its usually 40-45 max now.

So I'm wondering if you can watch dvd"s on this unit while in motion, or will it only work while parked?

Anyone with a little insite on this?

Just ground the little pink wire to anything in the dash and it will work all the time.

Just installed mine today. I do not think it has wifi or 3g/4g capability. It will interface with your smartphone and stream music or video that way.

I'm guessing not so much. I don't have a smart phone so I was just assuming it could.

I do not believe the unit streams video...just audio...

if you want to stream video from phone to unit you would need an additional cable...

@ Jerez, how did you put the led light on the side mirror, is it OEM or is there a kit?

Was I supposed to get a back up camera. Ordered mine Nov 9. Did not come with back up camera. Don't need it since I have the factory camera in the tailagate/rear view mirror but I could use it elsewhere.
