How much was your Viking syn line? I might run over to high country and see what they have

It was $220 from www.winchline.com I believe. But I got the Safety Thimble end which was an option.

HC is closed on Sundays and I think just part day on Saturday.

If you think you are getting the syn line real soon then just buy a Hawse Fair Lead and we will unspool the winch and remove the cable before we install it. Then when you get the line we can just throw it on the drum and call it good.

Have you thought about where you are going to mount the control box and have you gotten the needed parts to hook it to the battery? Time for more research youngling. :D

But do you have to have the winch off the truck to respool it? I think I have what it takes to connect it to the battery. Need to do some more looking for sure though your right

Nope. Held in by a screw. The syn line gets installed with a screw and some electrical tape.

I know, I know. I can explain when you come over but if you want to research look at this:

    http://www.winchline.com/hardware.html

The warn install is similar to what we would do on the XRC. It can be done with the winch on in most cases. What bumper did you get again so I can look at how the winch mounts?

What's nice is it was close to home and I had to go to Home Depot any way. So I made a trip out of it, also swinging by argonauts haha.
