Up here in Alberta 6 months of the year is snow and -20C

 

Got rid of the useless, annoying headrests in back.



That factory tint doesn't look very dark back there. I want to tint all of it darker but I paid $300 for the "legal" tint. I didn't want it because I knew I wanted it darker but it was so hard to find a V6 manual I just took it.

I guess I'll wait a bit until it starts getting hotter again and then have it done. It won't seem like such a waste of money then I guess....

No snow in Colorado? I have a Facebook friend in Gateway and she posted some snow pics the other day, I thought so anyway....

For me they are because I don't have kids and don't really see anyone riding back there in the future, not very often anyway.

I bought the AC for the extra space for gear out of the rain.

Nope. Still nothing. There may be a slight dusting at the higher elevations but at about 6,000ft... nothing. It was 70 the other day.

 

How did you get rid of the headrests?

 

pop off the panel (don't need to completely remove it), remove 4 bolts on each headrest

 

I gave my headrest's away for free. Thats how much I thought of them.

Got my first windshield rock chip today. They're supposed to repair it tomorrow.

I used to drive beaters and never got hit by rocks. I'm a rock magnet now that I buy new vehicles.

 

Same thing I said when I got mine 2 weeks after buying my 2012 which just happens to be my first new vehicle. I had flawless windsheilds in my '93 and '98.

 

I jumped a Chevy today. I laughed at the corrosion on the battery terminals. They were all impressed with the cleanliness of my engine compartment. Yep I do that to catch issues inside, like corroded battery terminals!
