Damn states! NH you just walk in and buy the gun. One federal check and out you go! PA seems like the better state. What is considered outside of the tourism area? I'd like to keep closer to NJ as i have family in the Flemington Bridgewater NJ area.

I have no knowledge of Northern NJ. I stay away from there like it's the plague. Northern NJ is what gives Southern NJ a bad name....that and Camden :D

Stay on the PA side. Jersey has high tax rates, don't know about NY, but I imagine they are higher than PA.

What Buff means is everything the locals view as harmful from NJ and NY is also represented in Stroudsburg. A very poor education system, very high property taxes, high crime, congested roads, people that think they are entitled to things, me first attitude, etc. You will have to have a small commute if you want to get out of it.

Driving up 380, I wouldnt start looking until you hit North Pocono school district somewhere around the moscow area.

Going 80W, maybe white haven is far enough. Your best bet may be south of there along 33 but someone else can speak to that area.

It is located in PA but tons of NY/NJ transplants there bringing the crime and attitudes with them.

    24. I'm pretty excited. I'm big into snow sports. So the snow won't bother me. I'm originally from NY. So yea the taxes in PA are much lower lol. Not as low as NH tho...which are non exsistant for state income and sales tax.

Bangor, Wind Gap areas aren't too bad. South side of the mountain so it's a little warmer too.

I've been in and around these areas for a number of years now. I really like Nazareth, it's a nice quiet little town.

I saw Nazareth on the map. from the birds eye view it looked like a nice isolated place. I'll look more into that. Thanks for the info guys :)

Hopefully I'll be able to meet a few of you if i end up down there. I want to start wheeling. Finally got the truck up to par for anything more of a mall crawl.
