    yeah, some of my earlier photos that are now red Xs are from 2009. may be the issue right there.

    I got it from Amazon because i have free shipping with prime. if you don't have prime, buying directly through smittybilt may get you a slightly better price.

    Another John, lives up in the panhandle, literally a about a mile from the alabama border.

    made some progress on the trailer. spring brackets are donw, with all 4 springs hung. mocked up the 4 links with pvc, and tacked the link tabs in place. next step is to cut the tube to match the pvc sections and weld the bungs in. then i finish weld the tabs and it's 95% done.

    the flex is good, but the travel is very good. I'm thinking about taking the trailer a different direction after seeing the travel it can put out. people have donw the whole airbag thing, and it's very very useful, but what i haven't seen much of, is a long travel trailer. something that you could tow at higher rates of speed while maintaining an upright trailer.

    bah, that's what the spring retainers and recentering cones are for :rolleyes:

    I'm sitting in the lab working on our design project at this very moment. 2 exams this week and then im done. headed back to VA on friday, and returning the first week of january.

    hoping to have the trailer done and the winch installed before i leave though :goingcrazy:
