Seems like a definite possibility. This video popped up immediately after. SD Truck Shop's and Built Right's logos are shown in the beginning. I think the same guy is wearing an SD Truck Shop shirt and C-walkin in the intro too.

not really just looking for road comfort but it is something I want to take into consideration, the truck will be street driven still and I dont want to put money into LT just to find out it ruined the truck on rd.

also my taco hasnt had a sway bar in years

Yea, I'm not labeling that guy as a typical desert goer. I'm just in awe at how dumb he came across...

HA!, You'd think that, LT's drive like shit on road, offroad awesome, it probably takes some getting used to, I've driven 2 & they both sucked on highway

x2 seemed like I spent the entire time making corrections in steering to keep the fucker straight, I thought maybe something was fucked up in the front end but after talking to others who had LT's for DD's kinda the nature of the beast

Hey, no smackin' on skiidog braah, he straight up gangsta yo.....:p

    Lots of expensive shit
Depends on the vehicle set up. Most people dont spend the time doing a good alignment. Having fast rebound will make the truck feel rough over small bumps and speed bumps.

Having the rear narrower will make the truck feel like its all over the place when it when there is tire grooves worn into the road.

A well aligned and set up truck should not drive any worse on the street. It may have more body roll if its long travel front and rear.

My little brothers tundra drives like a dream on the road with long travel

Shouldn't have to be trying so hard to keep it straight, I can let go of the steering wheel on mine on the highway going 70+ and it tracks perfectly straight

Will put together a much better quality vid in the near future, but wanted to post a quick teaser from today. First time in the dirt in 2+ years, 80% of the truck changed or upgraded since it last saw the desert, and it ran great!

A little shock tuning next weekend and we'll be ready to put the hurt on that MCM kit!

Try using some string and a 1/4" bolt to make a DIY tripod for the field. Helps with the shaky hands and fits in your pocket.

Anthony250 and I tried to make my cage as invisible to the cops as possible today. The un-carpeted tubes are for the padding:

    You mention "unpainted"
What paint is that or is it a fabric?

honestly i've never touched auto upholstery or speaker carpet until today and, although it was a PITA and my hands are sore as hell, it wasnt really that hard, just a lot of measuring, cutting, and sticky fingers.

Still not 100% done yet, got to put the cage padding back in and blend those in as well :spy:

Regardless it looks clean and way better than leaving bare sheet metal. Time to watch youtube videos on how to apply speaker box carpet
