I really want to do this but am in no way techy when it comes to electrical work...Is it really that easy?

I think the only difference for 2012 is the location of the fog light relay. It is covered in this thread with pictures and a video. And yes it is that easy. I can now use my fogs to their full potential.

what if you did this mod, and there was an instance where you only wanted the fogs on, or you only wanted the parking, low, highs on? would the fog light switch be usless?

I might be wrong but I think what this mod allows you to do is to use the button to have them on when you're lights arent on... I might be wrong though.

The fog light mod is great...

fogs come on with parking lights...
    fogs come on with headlights...
fogs come on with high beams...
the mod this way is "fuse protected"...
I did notice that the green fog on illumination on the dash does not illuminate when the fogs/parking lights are on, but when you switch to headlights it illuminates...
    [/QUOTE]

what if you don't want them on all the time... can you have your fogs on with your parking lights, but turn them off when your have your headlights on?? like change the combo up? you guys know what i meen?

Yes. They work with the switch just like factory, except you can turn them on or off anytime you want with the headlight switch in any position.

Ok I just tried this mod on my 2013 TRD OR and it did not work at all and on top of that my check engine light and Trac Off light is now on.

I unplugged all the wires and put everything back exactly how it was from the factory and the check engine and Trac Off lights are still on...

    What happened?

    Help!
