Anyone been boarding? I know Cameron said he did when we first got snow but from what I can see it's been pouring great snow up there. I'll be lucky if I get a chance to go once this season

Derek Abraham Lincoln? I haven't seen him post on TW lately but he's posting on FB. He's out of state visiting families and friends I believe. Something about California and wearing beanies when it's 60 degrees out or something

 

Note to self, never do last minute Christmas shopping. Holy shit today sucked balls.

I work in Tanasbourne and it's been an absolute mad house around here, I live 2 streets down and it takes me 15 minutes to get home! Today is actually the slowest day.

 

It's so hard to shop when all the racks of clothes are a mess or most of the clothes are gone heheh

I was at Washington Square yesterday getting my secret Santa her gift from Victoria Secret and man was it hard for me to mall crawl. I can only imagine where you're at..its not like you guys have a big parking space

Haha terrible Parking! Sometimes I park in the Target parking lot to avoid dumb ass people. I see people back into each at least once a week in front of my store freaks me out. Washington Square exit is absolute havoc every night on 217

Wasn't sure how the quality was going to be - got a 1/2" drive Craftsman set a few years ago that felt really cheap.. These seem pretty solid, and are a pretty cool concept.

 

I was up on the 24th, they did a great job plowing, i wish there was more snow on the roads haha i saw a tacoma 4x4 with chains on all 4, pulling 2 snow mobiles.

 

Yeah. The only thing I worry about is that little c clip that holds the sockets in wearing out. Guess we'll see how long that takes.

 

Well, I'm sitting at the dealer right now waiting for a diagnosis.

I have developed a nasty "clunk" coming from the rear (Driver's Side). It's only when turning hard left, but it's a noticeable clunk. The rear driver's side wheel binds up, and the sound is almost like the rear diff doesn't fully engage, then catches suddenly.

I'm baffled. Lubed all the u-joints, replaced the rear u-joint, checked the brakes, and messed with shimming the carrier bearing with no resolve.

Now I'm just waiting for the dealership to figure it out. Hopefully whatever it is will be covered by warranty.

 

Good luck...the stealership can get awful $$ extremely quick, but I'm sure you are aware of that already. I know when I had my oil changed in Anchorage, they knocked off $15 from the estimate. Seriously - $15 for a $5 filter...WTF?

Just going off what you said, it sounds like a diff/ring & pinion issue.

Yeah, they're tearing into the rear diff right now. I'm not too optimistic about the whole thing.

If they aren't willing to do anything under warranty (I will try my hardest to persuade them) but I may end up throwing a locker in there. The part that sucks is I don't have any money to do that right now.
