Tools are always good. I told my wife if she ever wants to get me something and don't know what, just go to Sears or Harbor Freight, don't even matter if I already have it, lol............

Any of you guys on the west side getting snow ? We've gotten nothing but a whole lot of rain over this way :(

Thanks! hopefully he'll see these posts.

One more question for anyone around here with experience with a 2.7 access cab 4x4. I want to run 5100's @ 1.75 with a 1 1/2" black in the rear with P265 70 17 Grabber at2's. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations. I've searched a ton through the forum and it seems that the 4 cyl is capable of pushing up to 33's as long as you don't care about acceleration. But I just wonder if I'm going to make the truck "un-enjoyable" to drive...

I can't speak from experience since I have a 3.4, but I did drive an all stock 2.7 on a good several occasions. I can say you're probably going to really notice it, but it will be driveable... It all depends on your driving style. That question is subject to opinion and personal preference. If you do it, I would definitely re-gear your diffs down the road. You're going to see it in power and gas mileage. Highway you'll be fine, hitting every stop light on Broad St. or Midlothian will majorly suck. Just my .02 , take it for what it's worth.

Well I put about 8,000 or less miles a year on a vehicle. I live about 10 minutes from work and there is only about 5 stoplights. I do tow a small 5x8 trailer with it that I use to haul brush and lawn stuff. I rarely go off road and I don't do any type of trail driving (yet). I guess it is all personal preference I just wanted to know if anyone around here had a similiar setup that I could ask

Sounds like you'll be fine then.... Just keep in mind, dropping down into passing gear at 60 or 65 is going to yield less than what it does now, granted our trucks are not racecars anyways regardless of what motor you have... I guess what I'm trying to say is your driving style will determine whether or not you'll be miserable with it.... Someting to keep in mind, but sounds like you'll be find. Definitely do a little more asking around.
