I've seen some led lighted license plate screws in the ricer section of oreilly's.

    Dude! You're awesome!

I picked up a light bar that goes from screw hole to screw hole. Not really thrilled with it but couldn't find the individual lighted screws at Autozone. I'll check out O'Reilly's tomorrow.

Is wiring up off road lights behind a grille hard with little to no wiring experience?

Thinking the OME 882s are going to be an excellent choice for this new bumper. The added weight has settled the 881s down so they aren't so damn giddy.

Today's project is getting the turn signals hooked up. Gian, did you have to do the fast-blinker mod or do yours work at the normal speed? BTW, how are the new tunes?

Another one here (ABQ), but I don't do any off-road (intentional) stuff. [IMG]

Some really great mods to be found here, not to mention lots and lots and lots of pictures. :D

Only one picture so far. I plan on taking plenty before I start tinkering with the truck.

First attempt at putting up a pic:

Very first thing to do will be springs and shocks. Just finished reading the whole thread on refurbishing springs:
http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html and I can't wait to get this truck to stand up and pay attention!
Somehow the idea of digging around in a snow-covered junkyard of frozen metal doesn't appeal to me.

So while I'm whining for some WARM weather, other than the suspension, there is:
fix the sticking cruise control; replace the 60-40 bench seats (I want buckets!) and finding a console; figure out why the speedo reads much higher than the actual ground speed; replace all the burned-out dash lights; etc, and so on. Piddly stuff mostly.

Yup, they blink fast as hell. Panicked after I got one hooked up and tested it. Nothing happened but realized I had the wires reversed. So I'm street legal again. Going to search for the fast blinker mod. I'll post the link here in case you're interested.

And you know how careful you were with the stock bulbs. Gravity got a hold of one today and then the floor finished it off.

Looks like there is a cheap fix by cutting a trace on the relay.
