Sorry for the long response time. I didn't just wire the parking lights into the turn signals.

Like Jerez stated, I tied them into the 3rd hole on the turn signals, activating the unused "low" filament that's utilized by factory DTRL's. I know they look bright in the picture, but that's the "low" filament lighting up, same as factory DTRL's. The turn signals still activate the "high" filaments just as they should.

    Got the idea here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/4838-cheap-free-mods.html#post45435

Got a specific link to a post showing a '12?
None of the threads are '12 specific. Last I heard, he was going to complete his prototype but was not going to move into production on the '12 version.

Factory DRL uses the same filament.
It's all switched in the flasher module.

That's why factory DRLs melt the lenses and yours won't ;)

got bored waiting on the clear coat on the grill to dry to the point where I could handle it and bring it inside, so I did something I've been meaning to do for a while... 2000 grit sanded and polished my heater/AC controls bezel that I smoothed and blacked out when I installed the 2012 dash center section :p

Installed my new K&N air filter last night.

Dang, had to even look for the location, no longer the big circle on top of the motor. Hard to put the unti back together as the pesky latches kept slipping in the way. A little duct tape soon fixed that, and then when held in place, used my forth arm to unstick the clamps, soon back together.

Alread i could feel the difference this morning when i got on the freeway. The added power pushed me back in the seat. :D

I like the fact that I can re clean and no wasted filter

used it as a ladder to cut some limbs out of the road. reckon I could get the state to pay me for doing their job for them. I think this is the first pic I've taken of my taco. I'm sure I'll take more when some bigger tires get fitted under it lol.
