    Okkkkk :D

And Mike that light bar seems pretty expensive compared to the Blitz Pro lights. Do they have a lot more lumens and more durable? Whats the big difference?

The Blitzpro 21" bar is $160 and puts out 4060 lumens
The OKLED Light bar is $215 and puts out 7200 lumens

Take the lumen comparison with a grain of salt, lumens aren't everything. It could be 12,000 lumens but if that pattern sucks, it's useless. You'd have to look at light output night shots from the 2 to decide which one you like better. The OKLED is a combo spot/flood and the other is a midrange fill (whatever the hell that means).

The Blitzpro bar is a single row of LEDs where the other is 2 rows (say you do take an impact, if you lose one or two LEDs on the Blitzpro, you lose a significant percentage of your lighting, not really the case with the OKLED bar.

If I'm buying fogs to use in the regular location, which ones are good for brightness? Don't plan to go off-road with it or anything. Seems like I'll have to start from scratch as far as wiring.

Wow very true. I just bought the Blitzpro 15S with 2800 lumens and I hope to somewhat use them along with my fog lights as normal driving lights. I usually only drive with my fog lights on now (yes I know it sounds stupid) but I live in the city its not dark, and people flash me with my BHLM's on sometimes. I think they are angled a little to high and I don't need the extra light to see. SO hopefully these aren't to bright (2800 lumens) to oncoming traffic and I can aim them down a bit. Otherwise I'll have a lot of oncoming flashes and probably a head on collision with the person.... The 21S is just to big to put behind the grille and has to many lumens for everyday driving.

The OEM fog lights aren't bad actually. If you want an aftermarket option, here are a couple:
you can pick up OEM style lights through Ebay that usually come with complete wiring harnesses and attach the same as the OEM fogs

PIAA makes a kit specifically for the Tacoma. It uses the PIAA 540 lights and does not require any modification to your truck and uses the OEM mounting point.

PIAA 510 lights will fit in the stock holes but require slight modification to make them mount up (very minor modification)

People have made the square Rigid Industries Dually LED lights fit in there but I think that looks weird

A last option is say screw the stock fog location and stuff an LED light bar in the lower grille location. It looks very unique in my opinion but will be expensive and require you to cut out the lower grille.

I love the canvas toppers he is making! His light bar pricing is pretty high though.

Ya those canvas toppers are awesome. I might end up getting one. I already PMed him and volunteered for a test fit because he is only 40 minutes from me, and i think he has a 1st gen. I would like one with an open back and a spare tire gate or something.

WOW, 3 pages back to see this...this place chats more than a whole team of soccer girls :p.......

NCRS will be sharing their "ideas" for spring/summer runs-events and BBear will introduce his plans for the "same"..PLUS wings & beer/refreshment ;)..

As of this week the Rochester area has been "shut down" for Sno-run's...
    unless something breaks privately....

I'll give some thought to the PIAA kit..those would be brighter than the OEM style I assume. I don't need the LED so much, in part it's the look of them I fancy..

LMFAO at your story. Well there's a difference between being a women and being a lady. I have all the women parts but I don't necessarily act like a lady all the time ;)

Keep us posted and put up a link. It seemed like last year all BBear did was the 3 day adventure. I can't commit to anything like that but if he does another 1 day I would be all up for it. Great Cause!
