PCC is very touchy on the way you present yourself in am email.
There's "Specific" guide lines each teacher had on how to respond and details for each line.

    Kinda dumb but whatev....

I corrected my Last History teacher there on his facts :))

Replied in your thread. It's a deal you can't pass up, but that gun I bought has got me needing to slow down on purchases! I'd have to wait until next month.

Seems odd. Most put the onus on the individual: "if you can't show up, you make arrangements. If you can't make arrangements, it is your fault. You have peers (who are hopefully trustworthy). I have office hours."

Yea, its email. You know how the internet can get. A lot gets lost over it, tone of voice, facial expressions, etc. It can be easy to come off the wrong way.

Weird how he is that concerned about notes. Maybe he should just suck it up and post lecture powerpoints online and just deal with the fact his classroom will be less full until midterms and finals. My physics teacher bent over backwards to help us out. Posted a lot of info on his website and had a significant number of office hours, always replied to emails quickly, really accommodating to issues and schedules, held review sessions outside of class. Couldn't have asked for a whole lot more from him.

I prefer Les Schwab just for the warranty and ease of getting in and out of one. Even if you pay a couple extra $$'s for the set you'll have life time balances, flat repair etc. Just walk in and tell em you need the bead cleaned because of sand/dirt build up and bam they'll fix it on spot no questions asked. Nothing but good to say about them...

ya, i hear you on that. plus that's the only place that seems to be able to do my alignment. i tried giving firestone a shoot with the lifetime alignment and failed right off the back. needless to say i waited 4 hours each time. so i contacted corporate and got my refund and heading to schwab. in/out 40mins.

I'm surprised. Every time I go to Firestone I've had great service. Which one do you go to?

As for tires it gonna depend on what you want.

Dude, that's the one I go to! 1st time they did it they aligned it..I don't know what is a good spec for alignment so I trust them..a few months later I took it back and they said they couldn't do it because my ball joints(lower and upper) has some play in it. I'm wanting to try les schwab to see if they can do it or another firestone. Both times I've had my truck there I have been pretty much the first customer of the day and it takes them awhile as well to balance and align my tires.

As for new tires..isn't there a member here that has a friend who is a manager at a tire shop and said he can hook us up? I forget his user name but I know I spotted him and his wife during Christmas shopping out in Hillsboro...jrobertson?? I think..

lol, that was the story i was told on my last visit. then i headed to schwab, and they said everything was fine and i was in spec. its them dam kids who work at the firestone. my second time there it took them 45 mins to put the dam wheel alignment reflectors on my wheels.
