Leafs in the rear?

I am going to be purchasing a 2007 trd sport w/ a 6 in fabtech db lift. It has 4 or 5 inch blocks in the rear and I am wondering what I can do to replace them. I will be pulling a trailer, mostly on weekends, that will have about 2500 lbs on it and maybe more. I will also be taking the truck on trails that really test the trucks abilities, so I am wanting to have flex as well.
This is the type of trails I will be going on. This is Gatortaco92's 1st gen dc with a 3" spacer lift up front and aal in the rear

Cough the cash and get some custom leaf built by Alcans.

look at Doug/OMD/4WD thread about adding chevy leafs to the pack.

 

All Pro Expedition leaf packs will give you about 4-4.5" unloaded and are meant to carry a heavy load. Otherwise, as mentioned above, a custom leaf pack or the OMD method would work.

 

Well it turns out that I will not be purchasing said truck above. The payments on it were too expensive for my liking. I know I probably won't find another deal like this one but I have to pass it up. I will still be looking into another taco, whether it be a 1st gen or 2nd gen. I appreciate everyone getting back to me.

 

You're better off not buying it.
No way would I buy one that had been rolling a 6" lift.
Just asking for problems.

I understand that. I had said that I wasn't going to be purchasing it before he posted that. I am still lookin for a Taco it just won't berth one. I might go stock or a mild lift. No DB lift for me.

 

You got that right!!

You're better off getting a stock truck and adding a mild lift yourself. That way, you know what the lift is and how it was installed. Don't go with a large lift if you're towing....
